The World Music / Fusion Band - Fusion Ensemble, is the brainchild of Milind. It is one of its own kind of Top Notch International Fusion Band. Fusion Ensemble has performed hundreds of concerts in last 10 years with it's steady line up. Today, Fusion Ensemble is known for its versatility and ability to introduce new concepts & music all the time.

Milind initiated Fusion Ensemble in 1998, and since then, besides touring India several times, the Ensemble musicians have travelled all over Europe, Canada, USA, Africa and Far East.

Fusion Ensemble has performed on many prestigious occasions and at several venues. Innumerable inauguration ceremonies, intercollegiate festivals, as well as private concerts for select important corporates, make Fusion Ensemble one of the most sought after bands.

Fusion Ensemble offers impressions from different music forms, like Western Classical, Rock, Jazz, Indian Classical, Indian Folk, Flamenco, Reggae, Blues and Arabic music. Milind, as the Composer, has been successful in establishing the unique band sound.

The Fusion Ensemble sound primarily consists of Indian Bamboo Flute - Bansuri, Tabla -The main Indian percussion instrument, Electric Guitar, Electric Bass and Drums. Occasionally some percussionists or some other instrumentalists, like Saxophone / Oud / Sitar players or even vocalists join the band as guest artists. Today, Fusion Ensemble is known for it's Unique New Sound and Unique New Concepts.

The Performances...

Fusion Ensemble is known for their versatility in performances, as well as for presentation. Right from a select audience of 20-30 exclusive dignitaries to some 35,000 young college crowd, Fusion Ensemble has performed very, very successful concerts. Many renowned companies wanting to give to their guests an experience of Modern India, and entertaining them with high class music, rely upon Fusion Ensemble. These guests are generally high profile corporate people visiting India, from their partner companies abroad. Obviously, Fusion Ensemble's concerts are sponsored by many different companies

The Performers :-

Derek Julien :- Undoubtedly the best guitarist in India, Derek is respected for his impeccable style. As early as 1969, Derek was touring Europe with his band Waterfront one of the first fusion music bands in the world! Derek is vastly experienced in live as well as studio works. He has worked with the best of the best musicians in the country. Derek is known for the immaculate rich tonal quality of his guitar and his exquisite knowledge of Sound Engineering.

Roger Dragonette :- The Bass Man Roger is a very good example of an ideal Bassist. The senior most member of Fusion Ensemble, Roger is known for his fantastic melodic support on his growling Bass. Derek & Roger are playing together for at least 30 odd years all over the world, right from the Waterfront Days. And this is the reason critics find for their unparalleled understanding with each other. Like Derek, Roger also has performed on innumerable albums over the period of 30-35 years. Roger is an excellent composer as well, and has several albums to his credit.

Uday Ramdas :- Uday is a very versatile Tabla player who plays from classical music to World Music. He is a well known student of Tabla legend Ustaad Allah Rakha. Uday has travelled all around the world several times, and has accompanied many senior artists from India; Pandit Jasraj, Ustaad Sultan Khan, Ustaad Shahid Parvez, to name a few. And Uday has worked closely with Milind for more than 15 years in the professional circuit.

Sanjeev Pandkar :- The drummer from Pune is not just known for his skills in drumming, but also for his equally good qualities in playing Guitar, Bass and Keyboard ! Sanjeev is also a singer and has sung for one of the leading rock bands in India. He has featured on many albums playing different instruments! And even in Fusion Ensemble, Sanjeev has played Bass, Guitar or Keyboards at times.

Sanjay 'Jack' Barde :- Jack is a very popular multi instrumentalist. He performs in various generes of music with equal expertise. With Fusion Ensemble Jack has played Drums, Guitar, Bass and Keyboards at different concerts. He is an accomplished singer and composer too.
